When consciousness is not caught up in self-observation and analysis, taking action becomes remarkably simple. Hesitation and overthinking only amplify our fear and anxiety about an unknown future, making us timid and withdrawn. The only way forward is to act—because action itself signifies that a choice has been made.

At the same time, choice is one of life’s central questions. Every moment, we are choosing—whether it's the route we take or the food we eat, or on a deeper level, the kind of person we hope to become. Each choice inevitably points toward a future we cannot foresee. While we may never fully control where life leads, we can shape its direction by choosing, again and again, in the present.
